Dr Ayu Saraswati
Machine Learning and Data Engineer
Dr Ayu Saraswati joined the NSW Smart Sensing Network as a Machine Learning and Data Engineer in 2020. She has an outstanding track record of developing end-to-end customised ML solutions on edge devices (IoT). Working collaboratively in an Agile framework alongside a team of physicists, business developers, and defence stakeholders, she has made significant contributions to cutting-edge smart sensing technology.
Dr. Saraswati works closely with industry and government to identify gaps and needs for smart sensors, actively promoting collaboration by identifying projects, identifying the right researchers within member universities, and developing project proposals for grant submissions or commissioned research. In addition to her technical contributions, she is committed to promoting innovation and creating a more inclusive and equitable environment in the field of smart sensing technology, writing and publishing thought pieces on the NSSN website and leading diversity and inclusion initiatives.
