The WSU hackers became the champions of the NSSN DataHack hackathon held at CEBIT Australia from 29 to 31 October 2019. The award ceremony was opened by the NSW Minister for Better Regulation and Innovation, the Hon. Kevin Anderson MP.

The NSSN rolled out a series of events to officially welcome the Australian National University (ANU) as a member on 25 September 2019.
