Dr Sam Ashby
Industrial Futures Theme Leader
Dr Sam Ashby joined the NSSN in 2022 as the Industrial Futures Theme Leader, responsible for engagement with key government and industry stakeholders. The Industrial Futures theme encompasses a range of projects in the circular economy and clean tech space with the intent of optimising efficiencies and reducing waste and carbon emissions across big industrial players including recycling, water infrastructure, and mining.
Sam is an established consultant and project manager in the research and innovation space, with global experience in technology scouting and appraisal, innovation strategy and management, IP strategy and intelligence, partnership facilitation and technology commercialisation.
Sam also brings to the NSSN her experience working on the ground with a number of our member Universities.
