WSU smart sensing research showcase was carried out by researchers at the WSU who presented their work in various areas of smart sensing.

The NSSN hosted a table at the 2019 Australian Academy of Technology & Engineering (ATSE) Innovation & Awards gala in Sydney held on June 13th.

The NSSN Ambassadors program recognises the wealth of research expertise in smart sensing that exists in NSW academic sphere and aims to shine a spotlight on some of the field’s brightest minds.

The NSW Smart Sensing Network (NSSN) is pleased to welcome the Australian National University (ANU) as its eighth member university.

The NSSN Frontiers in Sensing Forum took place on the 15th of May at the NSW Parliament House. The forum focused on the current state of the science and future trends in smart sensing.

NSSN is collaborating with the Sydney Nano Institute and the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) to develop advanced sensing technology for Australia’s defence.

On Wednesday 15 May, the NSSN hosts the inaugural Frontiers in Sensing Forum at NSW Parliament House in Sydney.

The NSW Smart Sensing Network is leading an innovative project bringing together five research universities with water utilities across Australia to apply emerging technologies to proactively identify leaks and potential failures in water supply networks.
