Exposure assessment, data fusion and measurement error

NSSN Environment & AgTech Theme Leader, Dr Tomonori Hu, will present at this virtual workshop hosted by CAR (Centre for Air Pollution, energy and health Research) that will cover the design and implementation of exposure assessments aimed at a technical audience.

In its first event for 2020, CAR will be bringing you a workshop discussing how to design and implement exposure assessments that are fit for purpose

The workshop will cover the following:

  1. Purpose: The various purposes of exposure assessments (e.g. environmental epidemiology, regulation and compliance, mitigation and control)

  2. Inputs: What are the sources of information required? (measurement of precursors, and measurements of characteristics that are known to predict air quality)

  3. Modelling: how can the inputs be combined and interpreted to best meet the intended purpose?

Special guest speaker will be Professor Lianne Sheppard from the University of Washington.

The one day workshop will be followed by an optional networking dinner.
