NSW Sensing Industry Connect

  • The University of Newcastle - Industry Development Centre 130 University Drive Callaghan NSW (map)

Co-hosted by the University of Newcastle and the NSW Smart Sensing Network, this event brings together the NSW sensing industry - the designers, developers, manufacturers and deployers of sensors. The event is an official part of the 2021 Hunter Innovation Festival.

Join us for an evening of drinks and networking and hear from some regional leaders in smart sensing. NSW Sensing Industry Connect is a series of events and follows on from previous successful meetings in 2020 at the University of Sydney and Macquarie University. The aim is to build a connected community of entrepreneurs, researchers and innovators in the sensing technology industry.

The event includes short keynote addresses by experts including Ms Joanne Wust, CEO at 4Tel and Professor Alan Broadfoot, Executive Director at Newcastle Institute for Energy and Resources (NIER).

This is a COVID-safe event and guests will be asked to follow COVID-safe guidelines.
