This event is for startups and small / mid sized businesses working with smart sensing technology.

Learn about how your business can benefit from working with the researchers and facilities at the University of Sydney. 

Hear how you can access NSW and federal funding, R&D tax incentives, and the highly specialised facilities and talent when working with Universities. 

In this session, you will hear from:

*Researchers presenting their market-applicable research, including:

*Carolyn Arnett, External Engagement Manager, presenting NSW and Federal funding mechanisms for industry-research partnerships

*Prof Simon Fleming, Director of the Research Prototype Foundry, and Prof Tom Bishop, Director of the Sydney Informatics Hub, presenting the University's facilities accessible to businesses

*Sarah Lacroix, Community Manager at the Sydney Knowledge Hub, discussing opportunities to collaborate with students.

COVID-19 Safety requirements:

All attendees will need to confirm the following before attending the event:

1. You are not showing any symptoms of COVID-19;

2. You have not had contact with a person who has been confirmed with COVID-19 in the past 14 days;

3. You have not returned from overseas, or any other location the subject of a NSW Public Health Order in the past 14 days;

4. You have not been tested for COVID-19 and are awaiting results and are not currently required by relevant authorities to quarantine or self-isolate;

5. You will follow any relevant COVID-19 Safety Plan requirements advised to you and any reasonable directions of your host, security staff and/or emergency services.
