As NSW faces the spectre of another bushfire season, this NSW Government event will showcase outcomes of the NSW Bushfire R&D Mission.

The event will showcase the innovative bushfire technologies of 18 companies that are currently being developed or trialled.

 It is a great example of how the NSW Government agencies, grant recipients and stakeholders involved in delivering the Mission have worked collectively to implement recommendation five of the NSW Bushfire Inquiry to improve planning, preparations for and responses to bushfires.

The event will include a presentation by the NSW Smart Sensing Network on its Bushfire Grand Challenge by NSSN Natural Hazards Theme Lead, Peter Runcie.
