The NSSN in partnership with AFAC and the Australian National University (ANU) Bushfire Research Centre of Excellence are hosting an Emergency Services Drone Innovation Day.
This one-day event is designed for emergency services personnel involved in the use, management, or future application of drones and RPAS. The day will focus on practical insights, emerging capabilities, and real-world use cases, with contributions from researchers and industry partners working directly in the emergency services context.
Participants will hear short presentations on current research and technology developments, followed by live demonstrations showcasing how drone and RPAS capabilities are being applied to support operational decision-making, situational awareness, and response activities.
The event will bring together key drone/RPAS practitioners from Australian emergency services agencies, providing a valuable opportunity to share experiences, compare approaches, and explore what’s coming next.
